Human instincts, human feelings, backed by good evidence about what makes people happy (see our bibliography), can be powerful. Often politicians just don't really know what they are doing. I'm hoping to provide evidence-based resources to strengthen objections to wrong-headed policy decisions in Bristol. And help people who want to defend the city's unique qualities by linking them to knowledge about the issues, so that they feel more empowered.
